_______________

SAN FRANCISCO

The Buena Vista Cafe

(2765 Hyde St // Fisherman’s Wharf)

If you’re at Fisherman’s Wharf, we’re either assuming you’re a tourist, or you’re there for Buena Vista’s infamous Irish coffee. Sip on a recipe that’s been used since its perfection back in 1952. Call to order: (415) 474-5044.

The Snug SF

(2301 Fillmore St // Pacific Heights)

The Snug’s Brown Buttered Coffee with bourbon-spiked coffee enhanced with chestnut, butter, and amaro cream will wrap you up in the coziest blanket in the midst of winter at brunch. Can’t wait until the weekend? They’ll be at Off the Grid Emperor Norton’s Holiday Bazaar at Salesforce Transit Center through 12/24.

Elixir

(3200 16th St // Mission)

It’s time to get toasty. And best believe the second-oldest bar in SF knows what they’re doing. Treat yourself to a hot buttered rum or hot spiked cider and curl up in front of the fire. And if you’re still in the festive spirit, they still have some of their famous homemade eggnog available! Order here for pickup.

Horsefeather

(528 Divisadero // NoPa)

Two words: Breakfast. Punch. It’s not a hot drink, but hear us out. This delightful drink is made from whiskey (that alone will warm you up), Jamaican spices, citrus, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch-infused milk. If that doesn’t sound cozy, what even is cozy?

Blackbird

(2124 Market St // Duboce Triangle)

Hot cocktails GALORE. Snag a hot toddy, a brandy wine toddy, hot buttered rum, or, our personal favorite, and Irish hot chocolate

Casements

(2351 Mission St // Mission)

One cocktail not doing the trick? How about a whole basket full? Casements has the hookup with a hot toddy kit complete with Red Breast 12 year, 15 year, and Lustau, plus allspice dram, Casements honey, and garnishes. This one’s sure to impress for your next date night in. Order for delivery here

White Cap

(3608 Taraval St // Outer Sunset)

You could opt for a classic hot toddy from White Cap, OR you could really spice things up with the Beach Blanket: A hot concoction of scotch, rum, sherry, almond orgeat, pumpkin, coconut milk, chai tea, and whipped cream… Totally up to you. Order for pickup here.

_______________

EAST BAY

Hopscotch

(1915 San Pablo Ave // Oakland)
Hopscotch has an option for any boozy mood you might be in. Our pick is the Aztec Queen, a hot toddy with tequila, ancho chile liqueur, and hot water, but opt for their hot buttered day rum or hot buttered bourbon and you’ll surely be satisfied.

Room 389

(389 Grand Ave // Oakland)

If you’re wondering how an Irish coffee could get any better, this bar by Lake Merritt knows what’s good. They’ve got a wide variety of hot cocktails from peppermint hot chocolate to apple cider and everything in between. Call to order: (510) 936-6389.

Forbidden Island Tiki Lounge

(1304 Lincoln Ave // Alameda)

Hunt for hidden treasure in the East Bay and you just may end up discovering something great like this local tiki bar tucked away in Alameda. Tiki drinks are abundant, but they also have hot buttered rum that, unlike the rough seas, is absolutely soothing. Order for pickup here

Gaumenkitzel

(2121 San Pablo Ave // Berkeley)

This traditional German mulled wine (or should we say Nürnberger Christkindle Markt Glühwein) is the perfect pick-me-up this winter.

_______________

SOUTH BAY + PENINSULA

Haberdasher

(43 W San Salvador St // San Jose)

This laid-back South Bay chain has breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktails, of course! Enjoy their array of adult coffees such as a Mexican latte (tequila), coconut latte (coconut vodka), or a good old fashioned Irish Coffee. Order for pickup here

Five Points

(169 Santa Clara St // San Jose)

In a team effort with O’Flaherty’s, Five Points is serving up belly-warming, Alice in Wonderland-themed cocktails all winter long. Grab a “Tea Tray in the Sky” (rum, butternut squash syrup, green chartreuse, grenadine, amaretto, earl grey tea) or a “The Dutchess” (tequila, apple, pear, guava, Jamaica, unrefined cane sugar, cinnamon) and you’re set. Order for pickup here

_______________

NORTH BAY

The Rooftop

(227 Healdsburg Ave // Healdsburg)

Cozy up next to your fire pie with a Hottie cocktail tonight, you earned it. It has warm peach liqueur, honey, and hot water, like a hot toddy’s cousin. If you’re feeling more chocolatey, grab one of their Cookie cocktails with Hennessey, Amarula, Kahlua, vanilla brown sugar, and Bailey’s whip. YUM.

Underwood Bar

(9113 Graton Rd // Graton)

Tired of hearing “hot toddy”? We hope not because you’re sure to get a buzz on with one from this quaint little spot. Their’s packs a spicy punch with black spiced rum and Canton ginger liqueur. Call to order: (707) 823-7023

Fern Bar

(6780 Depot St // Sebastopol)

One of the newer additions to the North Bay bar scene and they aren’t playing around. Try their version of a hot toddy, the “Naughty Toddy”, and it’s sure to become a new favorite in no time. Order for pickup here
