I remember when I first moved to San Francisco in 1986 and there was rarely a street tree to be seen. Friends of the Urban Forest is on of those truly pioneering organizations that has changes our everyday lives and our city for the better. Read on to find out more about their plans for the future…

Join us for an Open House celebrating the release of the draft Urban Forest Plan (Phase 1: Street Trees). Over the past year, Friends of the Urban Forest has been working with the Planning Department, Department of Public Works, and the Urban Forestry Council to create thisPlan for an expanded, healthy and thriving urban forest.
