7Teepees – Seven Tepees Youth Program positively impacts the lives of inner-city youth, 6th grade through high school graduation and beyond.  Client and friend Teresa Arriaga is the dynamic Executive Director.  The Paragon Community Fund and I are frequent supporters.

Damn Good Granola – need I say more?  Patricia Theel’s home kitchen turns out an amazing, delicious and healthy product.

Hearing and Speech Center of Northern California – The people here care so much about what they are doing.  Their services make a life changing difference to their clients.  I have seen the impact of their work with the children at my son’s school, Claire Lilienthal, which had the SFUSD hearing impairment mainstreaming program, and with close family friends as well.  The Paragon Community Fund and I are regular contributors.

Kiki’s Cocoa– Kirsten “Kiki” Ritschel brings her childhood roots from Hamburg, Germany to her chocolatier passion. Creating elegant, handcrafted cacao pieces that are almost to beautiful to eat. Each bite is truly made to be delectably enjoyed. Check out Kiki’s Cocoa Club which offers monthly delivery to your door!

Ladonna Witmer – Amazing poet and film-maker.  You will enjoy every second of looking at her work.

Mission Local – A very intensely awesome neighborhood blog.  Originally a project of UC Berkeley’s Journalism School, Mission local went independent in 2014.  I am a fan, and a supporter.  Check it out.  They have very local news, great photography, an dynamic up to the minute events page and even original fiction and video.  If you want to know what’s going on in one of the hottest and most intriguing neighborhoods in the world, become a regular reader or even a member.

MyTheo – The app your Agent uses.  Some friends of mine started it and it is what enables me to respond to your inquiries quickly from wherever I am.  I am very grateful to them for their work, and I am cheering for them to be the dominant real estate platform in the future.  There is now a client-facing App in beta testing.  If you try it you will never use Zillow or Redfin again – if you want it, just ask me!

On The Moon Studio – David Rosenthal has earned broad-based musical success across the globe. From musical director, producer, keyboarder, synthesizer programmer, orchestrator, and touring professional. David’s talents are in continuous demand for his technical expertise, skilled musical precision, applied creativity, and gift of perfect pitch!

Our Kids First – Great organization in the outer mission helping kids with after school and summer program.  Former Living415 team- member Delia Fitzpatrick is the program coordinator and I am a supporter.

Overland Wines – I remember noting Dick & Kathy Keenan’s knowledge about wine when they threw an engagement dinner for us so long ago I don’t want to count the years. They have realized a life’s dream of launching their own winery with grapes from a beautiful vineyard they planted. Check out their wines, sign up for their mailing list and enjoy!

Root Division – Root Division is a visual arts non-profit in San Francisco that connects creativity and community through a dynamic ecosystem of arts education, exhibitions, and studios. Root Division’s mission is to empower artists, foster community service, inspire youth, and enrich the Bay Area through engagement in the visual arts. The organization is a launching pad for artists, a stepping-stone for educators and students, and a bridge for the general public to become involved in the arts. Past client Joan Touchstone is a board member.

The Winemaker Salon – They bring exceptional winemakers and discerning wine lovers together for events including delicious food, drink and community.

United Policy Holders – Empowering the Insured!  Originally started by Amy Bach to help people who were affected by the Oakland Hills fire, United Policy Holders seeks educates consumers about getting proper insurance coverage and advocates for consumers following a disaster.  They have been instrumental in helping thousands after Hurricane Katrina, and more locally after the recent valley fires in the fall of 2015.  I joined their board in spring 2016 but before that was a regular contributor, along with the Paragon Community Fund.  They have a super inventory app that will help you make sure you get the settlement you deserve after a loss.  Download it here.

Vince Nguyen Bui, Personal Strength Training. Vince is a the head coach of the Golden State Barbell Club as well as a NSCA Certified personal trainer with a great sense of humor.
